Design Responsible

We are currently looking for an experienced Designer for NOISY MAY’s main collection, Fashion impact, which has the goal to ensure the brand DNA by creating high trends into commercial ideas with focus on the details.

The team
NOISY MAY Fashion Impact is an ambitious and strong team, consisting of one designer and three buyers. We are working close and strongly together to make sure our 8 fast fashion collection matches our denim brand.
NOISY MAY is in a constant grow and we are looking for a dedicated team-player who can meet and raise the bar with us. In your position you will be in close co-operation with sales, to ensure that the nice and needs will be meet from our different markets. You will also work close together with Pattern and buying department to make sure you present the best products possible.

The Job
As our Design Responsible you will be in charge of the entire process of designing and developing our 8 yearly collections. You will work closely together with our suppliers, to maintain strong partnership and strong products. Your focus will be on sourcing and develop products in woven and jersey. Having knowledge of artworks and prints development is an advantage.

More specifically your responsibilities include:

• Trend, trimmings and colors research and presentations.
• Making sure the NOISY DNA is strong in the products
• Responsible of design ideas to sketching with trim and details.
• Fitting of samples in collaboration with Pattern Design and Buying
• Hanging and styling the collection
• Participating in inspiration trips, supplier visits and sales meetings

Your profile
You are self-driven, curious and eager to learn in a always growing brand. You love to take responsibility for all parts of the design process and take proudness in presenting the collections afterwards. You have a natural interest in trends and can translate them into commercial styles, where your focus always will be to add love in the products. You thrive in a dynamic and creative environment in a small team, where every day is different.

Your qualifications

• Relevant educational background within Design
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in the fashion industry, preferably within womenswear
• Knowledge of woven and jersey products
• Profound experience with presenting both trends and collections
• Experienced user of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
