Full-time Retoucher

She Post Production is looking for a full-time retoucher in our growing business, which is based in Copenhagen. It will be an exciting opportunity for the right person looking for a long-term career in the danish photographic retouching industry.

Your work assignments will primarily relate to various retouching projects, both commercial and editorial, using Photoshop and Capture One but also assisting with various studio tasks.

Founded in 2020, SHE is a stills, motion and emerging media production studio, specialising in high-end image making and video editing.

The list below contains some of the work areas you will potentially be working on. The detailed specification of the work tasks will be agreed upon in a dialogue between you and us SHE so that both your and SHE’s interests are met.

• Helping out/assisting on various retouching jobs in collaboration with the team, e.g. preparation of images, clean-up, skin retouching etc.
• Being assigned your own retouching jobs with the responsibility for meeting the deadlines and handling email correspondences with clients etc, Initially supervised by the team, who will always be ready to help and answer any questions you may have.
• Performing administrative tasks, including managing files and backing up of completed projects.
• Assisting with daily tasks such as, tracking packages, picking up proofprints, helping with keeping the workspace clean etc.

You are a tech-geek at heart, as well as an artistic-soul with an aesthetic eye.
You have a proactive and can-do attitude, with the ability to take direction and absorb information quickly.

You are a problem solver and knows how to follow tasks clearly to the end with a sharp eye for detail, and able to meet deadlines.

You would love to be a part of our small office community in Copenhagen, as well as independently managing your own time within given tasks. 

You are passionate about your work, and have a great desire to keep learning with a curious approach, an open mind, and if there's something you don't know, you're always quick to seeing if the answer can by found via a quick google search.
 

Requirements:

• 2+ years prior experience working with Retouching/Post Production/Photography
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and basic understanding of Capture One.
• A basic understanding of film editing is desirable e.g. in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Flexibility when it comes to working hours is highly valued.
• We speak Danish, but the only requirement is that you’re proficient in English.
   

Additional Information:

• There will be a four-month trial period, after which we will have an interview about how it went, and a discussion of a potenial permanent position.
