MYP Art Teacher
All ISH teachers nurture students to become courageous and caring global citizens. The role of the MYP Art teacher will be to effectively implement the curriculum, teaching the objectives that will lead to a better world.
The position is part-time and will require the candidate to:

Have a Teaching degree in Art or related field of study
-
Have a high level of English Proficiency
-
Have a thorough understanding of best practices in teaching
-
Have the ability to plan, deliver and reflect on curriculum and lessons which will stimulate and motivate students’ learning and agency
-
Have the ability to differentiate instruction and assessments for students
-
Have outstanding collaboration skills
-
Be capable of instilling confidence and facilitate students’ understanding and application of mathematical concepts;
-
Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Be organized and reliable.

Employ strategies to empower a diverse group of students
-
Engage actively and enthusiastically to contribute to a positive school environment

Have knowledge of, and experience with, the educational philosophies and practices of the International Baccalaureate, specifically relating to the Middle Years Programmes (preferred)
