Role purpose
To own and develop Hangaren’s presence across social platforms by capturing the energy of the venue and turning it into content that feels real, relevant and drives attendance.
This is a project-based role with the possibility of extension, depending on performance and fit.

About Hangaren
Hangaren is an electronic music venue based in Copenhagen. It’s not just a venue — it’s a scene, a space, a crowd and an energy.
The role exists to translate that into a strong digital presence that connects with the audience and brings people to the dancefloor. 

Key responsibilities

 🔹Social media & presence

  • Own and manage Hangaren’s presence across relevant platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Resident Advisor, TikTok, etc.)
  • Ensure consistent and active output before, during and after events
  • Create events on relevant platforms (Facebook, Resident Advisor and more)
  • Run and track ads on relevant platforms (Meta, Google, Resident Advisor, TikTok and more)

🔹 Content creation

  • Produce promotional material, including flyers, video, posters and more
  • Capture and produce content from events and behind the scenes
  • Develop formats that feel native to the scene (reels, short-form video and more)

🔹Event & artist storytelling

  • Create anticipation around line-ups and events
  • Translate bookings into engaging content
  • Support the overall profile of the venue through content

🔹 Community & culture

  • Understand the audience and speak their language
  • Build a sense of belonging around Hangaren
  • Stay on top of trends within electronic music and club culture

🔹 Ticket sales

  • Create tickets and data, including sales performance, customer insights, and attendance metrics
  • Support and drive ticket sales through content and timing
  • Plan posts that convert attention into attendance
  • Work with urgency around drops, announcements and last calls

🔹 Collaboration

  • Work closely with:
  • Booking (Music profile
  • Venue Manager
  • Nus Nus marketing (Sparring and alignment)
     

Profile

🔹You are:

  • Part of, or closely connected to, the electronic music scene
  • Strong in graphic work, visual identity and brand identity across video, reels and social formats
  • Intuitive in what feels right vs. what feels off
  • Independent, proactive and comfortable working at night / during events
  • Able to turn cultural understanding into content that performs

🔹Success criteria

  • Strong and consistent presence across platforms
  • Content that feels authentic and resonates with the audience
  • Increased engagement and relevance
  • Contribution to ticket sales and event attendance

🔹Employment type

  • Project-based full time position from 10 June – 10 October 2026
