Peripatetic Tutor - Cello - Ulster Orchestra
The Ulster Orchestra, along with their partners Colin Neighbourhood Partnership, Shankill Children’s Zone and The Centre for Evidence and Social Innovation at Queen’s University, are seeking experienced and qualified music tutors to be part of our flagship Crescendo Project. The partners’ vision is to improve outcomes for children through music.
Belfast, United Kingdom
£36.00 p/hour.
The project aims to increase the resilience, aspirations, and emotional development of children from areas of social and economic disadvantage through a programme of music skills development, to increase participants’ musical skills while contributing to their improved wellbeing and self-worth.
Situated in four schools in north and west Belfast, the project aims to deliver weekly workshops with P1-P3 classes to develop fundamental music skills and progressing to learning orchestral instruments from P4-P7.
