ABOUT ALIVE
Alive is a site-specific and multidisciplinary performance that investigates the entanglement between the tree and the human, while highlighting the tree’s own experience.
The performance draws on a range of artistic mediums to accomplish this. From vertical dance, relational costumes, video and light design, mirror scenography, and a soundscape, all mimicking the tree in different ways.

Alive wants to develop the site-specific performance field, and
reconnect the audience to the magnificence of the tree.

Alive is in contact with theatres in Copenhagen about a co-production and premiere in Aug-Sep 2025.

Alive is set to play for 60 people per performance, and plays in the evenings.

Alive’s Artistic team: Amund L. Bentsen (directing), Charlotte
Østergaard (Costume Design), Esther Wrobel (Artist), Louise
Alenius (Composition), Jesper Berger (Video and light design), and
more.
