Auditions - Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra

During the academy the students will participate in 8–12 regular concert productions with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by world-renowned conductors, a unique possibility to get familiarised with the core symphonic repertoire.

The students will receive individual tuition on their instrument by tutors that are predominantly leaders and principals of the orchestra. In addition, extensive chamber music playing is a vital part of the course as well as seminars in stage presence and orchestral praxis. The students will also have ”mock auditions” to prepare them for real life situations when applying for a position in a symphony orchestra.

Students admitted to the RSPO Orchestra Academy receive a grant of €800 per month for 8,5 months.
