ORCHESTRA AUDITION

Tenor and bass trombone

 

On Monday November 25th and Tuesday November 26th, 2024, an audition will be held for a vacant position as tenor- and bass trombonist in The Royal Danish Orchestra.

The vacancy is to be filled as per January 2025 or according to agreement.

 

The audition repertoire

 

1st round:

Tenor trombone:

F. David: Concertino in Eb Major (op. 4), 1. Movement until Fig D.

Bass trombone:

A. Lebedev: Concerto in One Movement, Hoffmeister edition, bars 1-78.

 

2nd round: Orchestral excerpts

3rd round: Orchestral excerpts played with the section

Invitation

All applicants will be invited to the audition.

Recruitment will take place under the Joint Agreement for the Royal Theatre on-extensive artistic staff and the Protocol to the mutual agreement of Kapelmusikere between the Royal Theatre and CO 10 and local agreements between the Royal Theatre and the Danish Musician’s Union.

The first year of employment is on a trial basis and may be cancelled subject to one month's mutual notice.

For applicants outside the EU countries, it is a precondition that at the time of employment the applicant has arranged for work- and residence permit in Denmark.
